A local firm has picked up not one, but two accolades at the Herefordshire Business awards.
Marches HR, a human resources firm established in 2022, is “thrilled” to have scooped the prestigious awards, with a spokesperson for the team saying the recognition for their hard work feels "incredibly special".
The spokesperson said they were honoured, but also “somewhat shocked” to have taken home the Professional Services Business of the Year award and the prestigious Outstanding Achievement award, the "winner of winners".

Lorna Simpson, founder and first-time business owner, started Marches HR after a 14-year HR career. During that time, Ms Simpson worked her way up the ladder to become payroll assistant and head of HR at various large organisations across the country.
With vast experience in handling a wide range of HR issues, Ms Simpson and the Marches HR team said they focus on bringing warmth, simplicity and a personal touch to the HR processes of small businesses and charities in and around Herefordshire.
“Winning these awards is a humbling reminder of the trust our clients choose to place in us and the support we receive from our local community.
“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and are more motivated than ever to continue offering personalised, professional HR services to help small businesses and charities thrive.
“Thank you to the Herefordshire Business Awards, our amazing clients, and everyone who’s been part of our journey so far.
“We really do appreciate each and every one of you. This is just the beginning!”
