Our next Village Monthly Market will be held on Friday the 13th March 2020, from 10 am until noon, in the Bredwardine & Brobury Village Hall. We were pleased that a new vendor from Moreton-on-Lugg brought wood carvings for sale, featuring house signs, coat racks, serving trays, chopping boards and more to our January market and plans to come along again. Also on sale are homemade cards for birthdays and anniversaries with many featuring birds, flowers and wildlife. It's a great time of year to declutter! Bring along some Bric-a-brac a.k.a "treasures" to sell. Home baked cakes plus fresh eggs will be on offer. Fresh, local beef and lamb, both lupin-fed, from the Great British Meat Box at Allensmore is available for purchase. The Fairtrade cafetiere coffee and tea still costs only 80p a cup and home baked cakes are on sale for consumption. It’s a perfect setting for a relaxing Friday morning. If you have something that you would like to sell at our market, do come along. £1 fee to sellers for a table and the doors are open by 9am for setup. Everyone is welcome. Please contact Sarah on 07880 521 551 or Philip on 01981 500 398 for more details.
The March Market will also feature original artwork for sale, painted by our own local artists. The paintings will be displayed on the hall walls. Come admire and possibly purchase an original work of art. Please contact Brenda on 07855 143 048 for more details.
