There was a very jolly, socially distanced evening in the Red Lion on Thursday 1st October. Sadly not such a big gathering as there used to be, but safe, and it was good to be back. Live streaming is suspended for the time being.
As there was no double draw in June, we had a double draw last night. Brenda Taylor drew the first and the results were: 1st Prize (£50) - No. 96 Alan and Jen Maddison; 2nd Prize (£25) - No. 13 Andrew and Ildiko Head; 3rd Prize (£15) - No. 22 Charlotte Sellar. The first In It To Win It Prize (£10) was won by Pat Blandford. Charlotte Sellar drew the balls for the second draw and this time the results were: 1st Prize (£50) - Mark Blandford; 2nd Prize (£25) - No. 94 Phil Minton; 3rd Prize (£15) - No. 87 Heloise Kirby. The second In It To Win It Prize (£10) was won by Dave Blandford.
Unfortunately, the Church Service and Teas planned for October 11th, when we intended to present the cheque for the money we have raised this year, has been cancelled because of the new Covid regulations. We will announce the total formally next month!
The November draw will take place on Thursday 5th November, in the Red Lion at 8pm as usual (hopefully!!). Tickets for the 2021 100 Club are now available and are still just £20 for the whole year - cash or cheque only. Please contact Jen Maddison (01981 500048).
