We had another Draw night inside the Red Lion last night - it seemed different again, but enjoyable as always. Sue Miles drew the winning numbers and these were the results.
1st Prize (£50) - No. 133 Margaret Mokler
2nd Prize (£25) - No. 12 Anne and Steve Owen
3rd Prize (£15) - No.114 David Morgan
The In It To Win It Prize (£10) was won by Jen Maddison
The 100 Club has made £1,500 for our village Church this year, and we are usually able to present a cheque to our vicar or another PCC luminary at the November draw. Unfortunately not this year - but be assured that the money has been passed over. This year our efforts have mainly supported the creation of the new mini-kitchen and we are hoping we might see some mulled wine coming out of that before the end of the year!
The Pizza and a Pint night to support yesterday's draw was very popular, so the Lion was well attended on the night before lockdown started - we do hope that it will be open again by the scheduled time of our Christmas Draw on 3rd December!! There will be our usual Double Money prizes and also some extras to make up for the prizes we have missed in this unprecedented year!
