SOME Herefordshire schools are partially closed today (Wednesday) due to teacher strikes.
Hereford Academy is shut for Year 8 students, but is open to all other year groups, while Aylestone School is only open to years 8 and 10 and invited students.
Weobley High School is also partially closed, however the notification provided on Herefordshire Council doesn't give more detail, just saying 'details of partial closure as per recent letter to families'.
As for primary schools, Stretton Sugwas Academy is closed for years 1 to 3, while Broadlands is closed to all but invited students.

It is the sixth time that members of the National Education Union (NEU) are taking industrial action with more strikes set to take place on Friday (July 7).
The union is also re-balloting its members to seek continued support for strike action in the autumn term.
Members of the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) and the NASUWT are also being re-balloted in England, after neither union reached the required threshold to hold strikes earlier in the year.
