ONE marathon for charity clearly isn’t enough for a Ledbury woman, who aims to tackle 52 miles up and down the Malvern Hills in just one day.

Tess Brooks-Sheppard is to run the Malvern Ultra Marathon tomorrow to raise funds for Phoenix Bereavement Support, a Herefordshire charity that supports children when someone close to them dies.

The 35-year-old said: “I chose to run for Phoenix because my mum died when I was in primary school and it had a huge impact on my life. I want to help children who, just like me, lose their mum or dad.”
