WATCH out, Rio de Janeiro - you’ve got a party rival much closer to home.
Ledbury Primary School is getting into the samba spirit by holding a Brazilian Carnival week.
The fun starts today (Monday, June 2) and culminates on Friday with a full-scale party.
The carnival kicks-off at 5.15pm and will see music, dancing, and students parading in colourful costumes.
And there’s plenty more for revellers to enjoy, with a pig roast, bouncy castle and surf simulator being laid-on.
The carnival ties-in with the school’s curriculum, as pupils are studying global citizenship.
