COUNCILLORS will have a site visit before permitting development on one of Ledbury’s greenest sites.
Herefordshire Council is considering plans for three houses at Larkrise, on the northern side of Knapp Lane.
The sloping 0.5 hectare site is dominated by trees and includes a 1930s bungalow and two outbuildings.
Architects have planned three houses, built into the slope, with solar panels and various energy saving features.
The existing bungalow would be demolished to allow access, while trees would be retained at the front of the site.
Councillor Kay Swinburne proposed a site visit due to traffic concerns along Knapp Lane, which is used as a rat run between Ledbury and the Worcester road. The application will be determined in a coming meeting.
