MARSDEN Developments has renewed its application to build up to 127 houses on the Porthouse Farm site in Bromyard.
It is well known that I and the town council oppose this development.
Mr Harrison, of Marsden, made a point of emphasising the need for housing.
There are many other places in Bromyard where land is available and houses could be built.
However, there is only one place in the immediate area that is flat and suitable for industrial development and that is Porthouse Farm.
In 2006, Marsden Developments produced a plan for the site that included a mix of industry and housing that was welcomed by almost everyone.
Since then, it has stuck to the line housing only, refused to engage with the town council and applied again and again for what I see as an unsustainable development of houses with no provision of available employment.
Until Mr Harrison engages with Bromyard and Winslow Town Council and the people of Bromyard, I will continue to oppose him.
