THE 300th anniversary Three Choirs Festival ended on Saturday, and I am writing to express my thanks to everyone for their support of what has been a hugely successful week.
We are known for our “friendly festival” in Hereford, and this year has proved to be no exception.
It has been a privilege to meet visitors from across the world who have flocked to the city to hear wonderful music, take part in other events and sample the delights of our beautiful county.
There are far too many people to thank individually who have given their time as volunteers to help run the festival, but I am grateful to them for everything they do.
The wider welcome that has been given to our visitors has also been wonderful, and I am grateful to people for offering Herefordshire hospitality of the highest order.
The festival returns to Hereford in 2018, but in the meantime, thank-you once again, it is much appreciated.
CLARE WYCHBOLD Chairman, Hereford Three Choirs Festival
