I WOULD like to know who Mr Martin Woodhouse thinks he is. That is apart from being manager at M&S for 12 weeks (yes, that's all, 12 weeks).
He's probably come from a big city but already starting to act as though he owns the place. Like most big supermarket people, they come into smaller towns and cities taking over but, obviously, now it's not just the little shops they want to kick out, it's the years old traditions as well.
The fair has been in Hereford for years and yet he has been manager for 12 weeks. If he doesn't like the fair (which is only on for a few nights) and he doesn't like the Hereford undesirables such as myself (to which I might add, I don't do vandalism or steal) then maybe he should go back to where he came from.
Mr Woodhouse and M&S should stick to what they know, selling expensive groceries and outdated clothes and leave things they don't know about well alone.
He is obviously only worried about profits and upset he can't put his A boards out on the pavement (which in my opinion are more of a nuisance and dangerous than a fairground in the street).
Obviously Hereford isn't just Hereford anymore, it's M&S Hereford.
