IN the last few months, I have been picking my daughter up from Hereford Railway Station but it has become much more difficult to park for a short time due to the conversion of 10 spaces nearest the entrance into disabled parking spaces.

I have never seen more than two disabled spaces occupied at one time, leaving at least eight completely empty while cars have to park along the road opposite the entrance causing obstruction to the free flow of traffic.

Of course, I can see the need for two or three spaces but surely the present situation discriminates against the rest of the users.

It makes one wonder whose idea this was, when the previous system worked perfectly well.

Another example of discrimination against the majority to the dubious benefit of a minority.
