ON May 21 my vehicle broke down on the big roundabout in Hereford.

I was stuck in the middle lane with vehicles passing by, drivers not daring to look in case they feel they should have to stop to help.

After several changes of lights, one lovely gentleman stopped to help, pushing my vehicle over four lanes to the side, on his own, leaving his car in a vulnerable place. Did anyone help him? No.

I, and the four school children I had on board, would like to take this opportunity once again to thank him very much for coming to our aid.

Lady driver, Pencombe.
