AS CHAIRMAN of the Little Princess Trust, the Hereford-based charity that provides wigs and hair pieces for children who lose their hair through cancer treatment, I wish to express my thanks to the Herefordshire peoplewho generously support our charity. One day last week was typical of the support given with my post including cheques totalling around £2,000 coming from the Crown and Anchor at Lugwardine, Fownhope Bridge Club and Stretton Grandison Parish Church. None of these organisations, like almost all our supporters, were approached for help or asked for any kind of public acknowledgement of their support.
In a word that becomes ever more self-centred, I find the generosity of the people of Herefordshire both humbling and heartwarming.
