IN your February 5 edition, I asked people to donate their unwanted stamps to charity.
Since the article, I have been overwhelmed by the massive response and would like to say a huge thank you to all who have donated, especially Blackmarston Special School, Leominster Brownies/Scouts, Bredenbury School, Bromyard Hospital, the Bishop’s Palace and all others, including office collections and private households.
I never thought in this day and age of emails, mobiles, text messaging, franking machines etc, that there would be so many stamps out there.
It’s amazing. I would like to personally thank all those who have given, no matter how many or how few, as they will all go to helping such great charities. As I have had so many, I have decided to split the stamps between Bransby Horses and Cats Protection.
So please keep saving/spending your stamps as they are very much appreciated.
