I RECENTLY returned from a fantastic week’s holiday with a friend in your beautiful county.
We enjoyed stunning scenery, excellent local food – including the best sausages we’ve ever tasted from Glyn Slade Jones Butcher’s in Kington and delicious local cheeses from The Mousetrap in Hereford – and wonderful visits to Hereford Cathedral and the Brockhampton Estate.
What made our visit most special was the warm and friendly welcome we received from people wherever we went – shopkeepers, visitor guides, cider-makers, bar and shop staff, and our landlady for the week, Mrs Pattison of Huntington.
We had a brilliant time – thank you, Herefordshire!
