WE went to see Hereford Musical Theatre Company’s Little Me based on the life of Hollywood star Belle Poitrine.
Having never strayed from the professional Courtyard in Hereford, this was a first for us. Founded in 1898, this company, run by volunteers, has its own small theatre on Whitecross Road. What a wonderful evening we had.
The production was funny and slick, the direction was excellent and it delighted the 100-plus in the auditorium.
Running a theatre is an expensive business and audiences are required to maintain the running costs. From the experience we had last week, I cannot recommend this small company enough. We came out of the venue on a high having enjoyed a memorable night out.
