PENTIFFIC and Mortimers Cross have not made the cut for tomorrow’s Grand National at Aintree.
There were no defections from the 40-strong line-up on Friday morning and the field remains as was declared on Thursday.
Pentiffic and Mortimers Cross are the two reserves for the Grand National.
Pentiffic is trained by Herefordshire’s Venetia Williams and Mortimers Cross, is Ludlow by John Needham.
Herefordshire’s Richard Johnson will be riding Balthazar King and Tom Scudamore will be mounting Major Malarkey.
Tom Scudamore is the son of eight-time champion jockey Peter Scudamore and his grandfather, Michael, won the Grand National on Oxo in 1959.
