HEREFORD Rugby Club will be looking to exploit Bournville’s soft centre in the quarter-finals of the North Midlands Cup this Wednesday.
Coach Mark Harris says Hereford have nothing to lose against Bournville at Wyeside.
He believes a victory would be a sweet success for his men.
“They are in the league above which we obviously played in last year and they’ll be coming here to us so we will try and get at them and progress to the next round,” said Harris.
If Hereford did beat the higher-league opposition, it would set up a tie with Old Halesonians, whom the Wyesiders are scheduled to face in the league this Saturday (April 13).
“If we could get through, we have come to an agreement with Old Halesonians that the match we play against them in the league will be a double-header,” said Harris.
