FORMER Hereford rugby player Guy Thompson will be playing for Jersey against Doncaster Knights tomorrow in a battle to avoid relegation from the Championship.
Jersey's pack sees the return of Thompson for 11th-placed Jersey, who know that a win is almost certain to end their relegation worries.
Even a losing bonus point for the visitors will leave them nine points adrift with just two games to play.
Doncaster will be seeking their first league win of the season away from home in 10 attempts.
Ticket sales for the big match have far outstripped any previous league match this season, with hopes the attendance will surpass the 3,648 who saw Jersey play Rosslyn Park in January 2012.
