Pegasus Juniors 2 Wolverhampton Casuals 2.
JUNIORS gave as good as they got in a well-deserved draw with the West Midlands League Premier Division’s third-placed side.
Pegasus took the lead on the half-hour when Chris Mortlock reacted the quickest to knock the ball home after Mark Davies had headed an Adam Newbury corner onto the bar.
It was a corner which also brought the Casuals equaliser, on 68 minutes, when Luke Tudor fired home.
Pegasus regained the lead straight from the kick-off when Saul Thomas and Mortlock combined to set up Cory Hyde, who lobbed keeper Stephan Jackson from 20 yards.
Three minutes from the end, another corner brought the second equaliser when Matt Bailey passed the ball into the net from 10 yards.
Last Thursday, Kane Kahaki bagged a hat-trick in a 4-3 win over basement club Bustleholme. Newbury was the other goalscorer.
