FOUR Bishop of Hereford’s School students played key roles as Droitwich won the plate at the Sale Sharks’ J P Morgan Sevens tournament.
Rhys Samuel, Ed Bennion, Aaron Hinkley and Kieran Twigg were in the side which finished runners-up to Chester in the prestigious tournament.
The quartet’s Droitwich side romped through the group stages but made a poor start in the final, falling 28-7 behind at the interval before rallying to bring a final score of 40-21.
They received their trophy at the half-time interval at Sale Sharks’ Premiership game with Gloucester.
