Huddersfield 5 pts Luctonians 64 pts.
LUCTONIANS gained revenge for their surprise home defeat by the Yorkshiremen with a 10-try National Two North demolition of the relegated home side.
Paul Hulland opened the scoring before man-of-the-match Geraint Langdon cut through the home defence for the first try of a first-half hat-trick.
With Drew Cheshire and John Morris, who converted five of the six pre-interval tries, also going over before the break, Luctonians held a conclusive 40-0 advantage at the turnaround.
Captain Nick Sharp crossed for Huddesfield at the start of the second period but it was only a minor respite and George Thomas powered over from close range.
Two tries in a minute from Alex Rumsey and Morris took the Mortimer Park club past the 50-point mark and, from the final play of the afternoon, Cheshire went over for his second try of the afternoon.
Morris also converted two of the second-half tries.
On Saturday, Luctonians wind up their league season when they entertain Stockport in the last home game of the campaign (ko 3pm).
