Bartley Green 1 Pegasus Juniors 1.
CHRIS Mortlock’s powerful volley earned Pegasus Juniors a well-deserved West Midlands League Premier Division point.
Mortlock and Keith Jones had gone close for the city side before Odane Barnes shot the hosts in front with an effort which beat Bryn Watkins.
Three minutes into the second period, Adam Newbury flicked on a Toby Lowther free-kick to Mortlock whose volley screamed past goalkeeper Aaron Gayle and into the net.
It was a second game in three days for Juniors who had previously been narrowly beaten 2-1 at Black Country Rangers.
Goals from Ben Evans, Ashley Millard, Nick Weaver and Joshua Stafford (2) earned Bromyard Town a 5-2 local-derby win at Wellington, whose goals came from Ben Fischer and Peter Wood.
Wellington suffered another battering when they were beaten 7-2 at home by Shawbury United.
And Bromyard were also involved in a high-scoring defeat, when they went down 6-4 to Sporting Khalsa at Delahay Meadow when Millard (2), Evans and Matthew Lewis bagged their goals.
