FORMER Yeovil Town player Rob Calderhead has hinted he will stay at Ewyas Harold as joint-manager next season.

“I don’t see any reason why I shouldn’t be at the club next season. I’ve enjoyed this year and we’ve certainly finished at least runners-up, so it’s been great,” said Calderhead.

“We’ve made massive strides this year and when I started, it was hard to even get 11 players on the field. I’ll take a bit of time off now, reassess everything and see what the future holds.”

With Harold top of the Herefordshire Premier Division, their Liverpool-born manager admitted that his first season in coaching has gone well.

“Ewyas Harold are a really good club to cut your teeth in,” said Calderhead.

“My first season has gone well and I am hoping to push on and get my UEFA ‘A’ licence and to get as high as I can.

“The only issue is that I have to try and balance my football and my career,” admitted Calderhead.

The Harold boss used to live in Exeter and, when asked about a potential return to the South West, he added: “I’ve got contacts down there but with my work in Hereford, I’m always around this area.”
