LUCTONIANS roared to a 137-run victory over Dales in a one-sided GB Liners Marches League Division One derby at Mortimer Park.
Pete Griffiths (77), James Platford (44) and Chris Griffiths (44) led the way in Luctonians’ 286 all out. Owen Davies took 3-51 and Jon Jones 2-32.
Despite Jones’ defiant 62, Dales could must only 149 before they were shot out in the 38th over.
Matt Bengry (3-24) was Luctonians’ most successful bowler.
Eric De Greeve took 7-39 to demolish Garnons’ innings for 101 in just 22.2 overs and set up a comprehensive seven-wicket away win for Builth Wells.
Simon Watkins took a hat-trick and finished with remarkable figures of 7-5 in Eastnor 3rd’s 134-run thrashing of visiting Strollers in Division Four.
James Brighton made 101 in Ledbury’s 76-run home win over Almeley in Division Two.
Kington 2nd batsman Ollie Morgan (96 not out) led his side to a three-wicket win at newcomers Knighton-on-Teme in Division Three.
Robbie Farrar (54), Mark Evans (35) and Matt James (29) steered Knighton to 213-9 but Morgan wrecked the villagers’ league debut.
Meanwhile, Max Porter’s 94 and Joe Crichard’s unbeaten 59 guided Brockhampton to an eight-wicket win over Bromyard in the Marches Sunday League.
Jamie McIIroy’s quick-fire 47 not out propelled Builth Wells to a seven-wicket success at debutants Monmouth, who were dismissed for just 113.
Dales were hit by injuries and could not raise a side for their trip to Colwall.
