THREE Herefordshire teenagers have been starring for Worcester Warriors Elite Players Development Group.
The trio of Will Butler (Hereford Cathedral School), Jack Helme (Bishop of Hereford’s Bluecoat School) and Luke Clarke (John Kyrle High School) were among the points in a high-scoring visit to Leicester Tigers.
In a fantastic display of running rugby from both teams, 11 tries were scored and the lead changed hands four times before Warriors ran out 38-35 winners.
Butler and Clarke scored a try apiece with Helme bagging two on a thrilling evening.
The trio of young county stars have been clocking up the miles as they have also attended a training session at Northampton Saints with England U16-18 coach John Fletcher.
