LEOMINSTER’S Pete Ding, a member of Ludlow CC, was the winner of Hereford Wheelers sixth 10-mile time-trial on the Leominster course.
On a night of warm, blustery conditions, the race attracted 62 riders with Ding recording a fast time of 22 minutes 38 seconds to beat Alex Haines, 22.54, of Hereford Wheelers, into second place.
In third place was Climb on Bikes rider Mark Sims in 23.45.
The woman’s race was won by Wheeler Sarah Lloyd Stephens in a time of 25.23. Junior rider Annasley Park, of Abergavenny CC, was second in 26.28 with another Wheeler Sally Field third in 27.12.
Junior rider Luke Allen of Hereford Wheelers rode his fastest time of the season to record 29.55.
