Hinton boss Graham Andrews is excited about the young players currently starring at Broomy Hill.
The Hereford side run two under-17 sides, as well as an under-11 team called Hinton Galaxy.
"Hinton Football Club have had a long history in the city for junior football," said Andrews.
"We lost our way a little bit a few years ago when we lost some junior teams.
"Since then we have started restructuring the club with the facilities we have at Broomy Hill.
"We now have a really strong under-11's team and a very good under-six set-up that we have on a Saturday morning.
"From that we are hoping we can bring more young players through the close associations we have with the Cathedral School and Hereford Academy where are training every Wednesday.
"We want to support these players staying at Hinton for hopefully all of their careers playing football."
Andrews, who has been at Hinton for six years after starting out as their under-18 manager, added that grassroots football in the city needs all the support it can get to help develop youngsters.
"It needs people that have played football previously to go and support the clubs to make sure we can provide the right facilities for young players to play football," said Andrews.
"From the very early ages of under-six and seven's right the way up through their careers to senior football.
"It needs local people to be involved."
