SCOTT Moran moved up to join his father, Roger, at the top of the British Hill Climb Championship table after taking two wins last weekend.
On Saturday the Orleton-based duo contested two rounds over the 890-yards Barbon Manor course in Cumbria.
Martin Groves won the morning run-off in 20.71 seconds, followed by Scott on 21.11. Roger recorded 21.33 seconds for sixth spot.
Then Scott turned the tables on his rival by winning the afternoon session with a 20.89 blast, leaving Groves second on 21.07. Roger improved to fourth with 21.38 and Deryk Young from Yarkhill took eighth on 21.83.
The competitors crossed the Pennines on Sunday for two more rounds at Harewood near Leeds.
Course record holder Scott Moran streaked up the 1,583-yards track to win the morning run-off in 49.45 seconds.
Groves followed with 50.26, Roger Moran took third with 50.26 and Young was fifth on 52.10.
The afternoon run-off took place on a rainswept track. Groves took the win with a 63.86 shot. Roger was second on 64.47 and Scott survived a big slide to take sixth with 67.20.
