HEREFORD United giantkilling hero Mike [Mick] McLaughlin has died.
McLaughlin was part of the famous United team that beat Newcastle United in the FA Cup in 1972.
Ricky George, who scored the winning goal for United in the 2-1 win, tweeted the following earlier today.
The iron man has gone. Hereford United legend Mike McLaughlin passed away at 6.30 am today. RIP unforgettable team mate , great guy.

Hereford FC have also offered their condolences to McLaughlin's family and friends.
