ENDURANCE runners will be heading for Longtown on June 23 for the Darren's Dash multi-terrain race and Courthouse Canter family fun run.
Last year's event welcomed runners from throughout Hereford-shire and the surrounding area as well as from farther afield.
The Dash is a tough 7.5km race including 900ft of climbing up to Offa's Dyke and some short steep sections of ascent and descent. The Dash entry limit is 150 and is filling up fast.
The Fun Run is open to runners, joggers and walkers of all ages with 1km, 2km and 5km options available. Entry is on the day only for fun runners.
The events are hosted by Longtown Outdoor Education Centre and Wye Valley Runners. For information contact Mike Fawcett on 01873 860225 or at www.wyevalleyrunners.co.uk
