FORMER Hereford United midfielder Craig Stanley looks set for a reappearance at Edgar Street next season after helping his new club Morecambe to promotion to the Football League.
Stanley, who played for United in the Conference play-off final victory over Halifax Town, turned down Hereford's offer of a contract to join the Shrimps.
And on Sunday at Wembley he helped his new side to a Conference play-off victory for the second successive season as Morecambe came from behind to beat Exeter City 2-1.
Stanley's joy, however, meant gloom for another of Hereford's play-off heroes. Adam Stansfield was a member of the beaten Exeter team.
A third member of United's promotion winning side will be making an appearance at Wembley this weekend when Ryan Green will line up for Bristol Rovers in the League 2 play-off final against Shrewsbury Town.
Green will, no doubt, be hoping to provide a spectacular winner, as he did in the Bulls' moment of glory, but to do so he will have to beat another Bulls old-boy as Chris Mackenzie will be in goal for the Salopians.
