LEDBURY are making the pace at the top of Division 2 of the Flint & Cook Marches League after a nine-wicket demolition of Moccas.
The villagers were shot out for 70 and Ledbury, with P Pritchard (35 not out) and Dan Baker (34) in good form, romped home in just 10 overs.
Hereford City enjoyed a last-ball, six-wicket win at Woolhope after some good batting by Nick Osborne (77) and Neil Salt (67 not out).
Rob Heath of Goodrich 2nd was the day's only century-maker in the Marches League, compiling 101 as his side won by 10 runs at Marden.
The home side's Mark Breedon took a hat-trick in his 5-16 but Richard Hope was in similarly good form with the ball for the visitors as he returned 5-41.
Hay's left-arm medium-pacer David Cooke was another bowler to find conditions to his liking, including a hat-trick and a four-wicket maiden in a spell of 4-38 as his side beat Luctonians 3rd by 44 runs in Division 3 in spite of a fine 81 by John Amos, peppered with eight fours and four sixes.
Steve Watkins (39 not out) cracked a six to give Herefordians a dramatic one-wicket success over Ewyas Harold.
His team-mates had floundered against teenage leg-spinner Craig Cornish (6-41) while Harold had suffered at the hands of veteran seamer Rob Pendleton (6-36).
Dave Bywater (51 not out) guided Dales to a five-wicket win over Almeley in Division 4 while Mark Cathcart (56 not out) dominated the scoring as Lads Club chased down 77 to beat Eastnor 3rd by eight wickets.
Lads Club 2nd also had a batsman in form as 14-year-old James Hancock's 91 was instrumental in helping his side to beat Kington 4th by 91 runs.
Fine innings by Paul Sheridan (83) and Keith Bushell (62) for Strollers 2nd were rewarded by a 119-run success over Abergavenny Beavers but Tom Cutler's 85 proved in vain for Herefordians' 2nd as his side went down by six wickets at Bartestree & Lugwardine St Mary's .
