HEREFORD Rowing Club stage their biggest event of the year on Bank Holiday Monday with the City Regatta at Wyeside.
Some 160 crews from 29 clubs from all over the country, and as far apart as Totnes in Devon and Doncaster in Yorkshire, will be taking part in the historic regatta, first held in 1866. There are 49 different events over the 1,000-metre River Wye course, with racing from 8.45am to 5pm.
Refreshments for spectators will be available throughout the day.
