- The Herefordshire Football Association will set up a new County League to replace the Herefordshire Football League
- Clubs will have to apply to be in the new league
- HFA chief executive Jim Lambert says there will now be more sponsorship opportunities and he is looking for a company that will pump in a few thousand pounds to sponsor the league
- There will be a discount scheme with Nike and it has already been agreed that every clubs will have two free Nike match balls
- The setting of the new league is a net result of the decline in Saturday and Sunday football in Herefordshire
- Ewyas Harold, Sinkums and Kingstone Harriers will each be fined £50 for not attending the meeting, as set out in the league rules, but the HFA says they will reduce fines next season
