HEREFORDSHIRE trainers Kerry Lee and Venetia Williams have enjoyed success this week.
Lee, from Byton, near Presteigne, won the Betfred Grand National Trail At Haydock after Bishops Road, ridden by county jockey Richard Johnson, claimed victory.
The horse is currently 60th in the weights for the Aintree race on April 9, with the top 40 guaranteed a run.
Lee has had a great start to the year and has seen winners in five of the last Saturdays.
Williams, meanwhile, won the opening race at Ascot last Saturday when Yala Enki was successful in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle.
The 7/4 favourite bravely held at bay his four rivals to register a third win of the campaign.
