LEOMINSTER bowls player Tracey Powell has again won a place in the England team for the International Women's BC Home International Championships.
Powell made county history last year when she became the first Herefordshire player to represent England and helped them to third place in the home series at Ayr.
This year's internationals are nearer home, at Llandrindod Wells, on June 19-21 and England start against Ireland, followed by reigning champions Wales, Jersey and Scotland.
There are five new caps in the England team but the rink Powell played in is unchanged and skipped by Pat Reynolds of Huntingdon.
Last year England won two and lost two matches, while Reynolds' rink convincingly beat their Ireland and Jersey counterparts and suffered narrow defeats to Wales and Scotland.
