HEREFORD FC chief executive Ken Kinnersley is appealing for help as it looks to events that occurred at Alvechurch last night.
"As a club we recognise that the vast majority of our fans travel to games to offer fabulous support to our team and we are all hugely grateful for the commitment shown by so many," said Kinnersley.
"However, we are becoming increasingly concerned by a tiny element that seem to get themselves involved in problems at some away games and are therefore damaging the reputation we are trying to build as the club.
"Sadly, a fantastic football match last night was tarnished by disappointing scenes off the pitch and we are currently speaking to officials at both Alvechurch and the Midland Football League to establish the facts behind the events that unfolded at Lye Meadow and exactly who was involved.
"With those events, and the brief confrontation at Dunkirk in mind, we would like to make an appeal to any Hereford FC supporters who have information ā or footage ā of any unsavoury incidents at any of our games to come forward and share it with us.
"Rest assured this can be done in the strictest confidence.
"We will simply not stand back and allow the good name of this football club to be damaged by a small minority, when so many people are contributing so much positive energy into moving Hereford FC forward.
"Again, Iād like to state that everyone at Edgar Street recognises that the vast majority of our supporters provide nothing but fantastic support every single week.
"As much as anything we believe we owe it to the majority to root out the small number of troublemakers who are attaching themselves to Hereford FC, and who are threatening to ruin the enjoyment so many people are experiencing this season."
