A HEREFORDSHIRE martial arts exponent has returned from an international competition in Hungary with two silver medals.
Eleanor Lane from Little Birch represented the Great Britain team at the wado-ryu karate event against competitors from, amongst others, Bulgaria, Latvia, Italy, and Ireland.
She collected an individual silver in the ladies' kumite up to 55kg competition and then added another silver to her tally in the ladies' team kumite competition.
Lane has been taking part in the sport for five years and progressed to the Great Britain squad 18 months ago, being selected for the team for the first time two months ago.
