THE North Hereford Pony Club Mounted Games team will be taking part in the Pony Club Championships at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire this Monday.
The side won their Area competition, resulting in them reaching one of the four Zone Finals held across the country.
Ariana and Finlay Davison, Lottie Edwards, Otty Thomas, Charlotte Wilson and Georgia Barrett have recently done demonstration competitions at Gatcombe's Festival of Eventing, and the Game Fair at Ragley Hall and are now training hard ready for the Championships.
Trainer Edward Chamberlain, who travels from Coventry for their weekly training sessions, said: "We're excited to be going to the Championships again.
"They're a great team of children who put a lot of effort in to training and all pull together really well in competitions which is so vital for this team sport."
Charlotte Wilson will also be at the Pony Club Championships representing North Hereford Pony Club in the show jumping team.
The county club have two other members heading for Cholmondeley, Ellie Butcher and Saskia Hinton, who won their sections at Area Dressage.
District Commissioner Sally Pearson added: "For our relatively small pony club to gain these results and be going to the Championships in all three disciplines is a great achievement."
