TWO champions shared the ring at South Wye Amateur Boxing Club when Midland Area Welterweight champion Craig Morris met amateur title holder Yusuf Abdallah.
Morris, who beat Nathan McIntosh to win his title in Stoke-on-Trent, returned to the Hinton based club to give Abdallah advice on his next fight in the Development Championships, a national competition aimed at up and coming talent in the country.
Abdallah fought five successive bouts in 10 days to become Midland champion and now aims to become the best boxer in the country.
"Its been a hard few weeks at the club, trying to get prepared for fights and I'm very grateful for all the support and teamwork from all the coaching team" said Abdallah.
Club secretary Vince McNally added: "Yusuf is a champion in our eyes, his commitment and dedication is second to none and we wish him the best for his continuing advancement in this competition, and having someone like Craig to help and advise our boxers is fantastic."
