FRED Florence has returned to Ledbury Amateur Boxing Club following a stroke and has secured a new lease.
Florence's son Alex has been running the club in his absence for the last year and his father has thanked him for his help.
"Alex has been a great help keeping the club going and keeping the members in top condition," he said.
"It will be nice to work back with all my members, especially to get Alex back in top condition and to start picking titles up.
"He sacrificed his own career to help the members of the public, but with a lot of work and time he will get back on track and turn professional."
The gym will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays, with classes starting at 7pm, while new members are welcome for either fitness or boxing lessons.
