SOUTH Hereford and Ross Harriers took first place at an Intermediate Team Show Jumping competition.
Alice Garfield, riding Niacra II, clinched the title with an excellent last round, while Sapphire Smith, aboard Utah's Perlie, also completed a clear double round.
The team was completed by Rhona King and Jessica Morris.
"We managed to finish the first round on a score of four faults leaving us in the lead," said trainer Holly Cartwright.
"The second round was then in reverse order of merit so we had a long wait being last to jump.
"The girls all coped well with the pressure knowing we didn't have that many fences in hand over the other teams.
"Once the first three members had been, our fate was in the hands of Alice who couldn't afford to have a fence down.
"Alice kept her cool giving us that all important clear for the win.
"Between the two rounds it was truly a team effort where everyone played an important part."
