PUPILS from Lucton Prep School were in dominant form during their first Herefordshire Primary Schools Inter-School Gala recently.
With 19 schools competing, Lucton had top three finishes in most races and were crowned Medley Relay Champions teams for both boys and girls.
The final Canon Relay for the overall trophy followed as well as the Small Schools Trophy.
Paul Thorne, school bursar said: We had medals galore for our wonderfully talented bunch from Year 3-6!
"What a day! It was a very dominant performance with the Lucton team winning over 90 points, nearly twice as many as the next nearest team."
Lucton’s medal winners were: Jack Sneyd - U11 50m Freestyle and Breaststroke Champion; Hannah Lawry - U11 50m Backstroke Champion; Ted McKnight-Hardy - U11 Backstroke silver medallist; Jack Taylor - U10 Backstroke Champion; Philippa Price - U10 Freestyle Champion and butterfly silver medallist; Livvy McGrath - U10 Backstroke silver medalist; Thomas Berry - U10 Freestyle bronze medalist; Ben McKnight-Hardy -U9 Backstroke silver medalist; Zac Thomas - Freestyle silver medalist; Freya Lawry - U9 Breaststroke silver medalist and George Muckalt - U9 Breaststroke bronze medallist.
