A Hereford Tae Kwon-Do Instructor led by example as he came away with three gold medals from the Inter-Services Championship between the RAF, Army and Navy.
Brennen Page, who is a fifth Dan in the sport, was selected to represent the RAF in a Services-wide Martial Arts Tournament held at RAF Cranwell.
Page, as an RAF Reservist, swept the board taking golds in the Individual Men's Sparring, Individual Men's Patterns and Men's Team Sparring.
The senior instructor at the Hereford and Abergavenny branches of Page Family Tae Kwon Do Academy started his martial arts training aged seven and gained his black belt aged 11.
“Tae Kwon Do has been the backbone of my life, guiding me throughout school and beyond,” said Brennen. “It is very much a part of who I am today.”
Page credits his success to instructor Jon Stockwell, as well as to his father Brian Page (2nd Dan) and his mother Tina. The Page family - including Brennen’s sister Syanna, were the first family to train and gain their black belts together, all taking their grading under Grandmaster He Il Cho 9th degree black belt and head of AIMMA Tae Kwon Do.
The family regularly competed in British, Welsh and English Championships, winning numerous medals in both patterns and sparring divisions.
Page Family Tae Kwon Do offers up to one month free training, with no obligation to join. Contact Brennen for more details by telephone on 07742 356818 or by visiting www.pftkd.com.
