A YOUNG Ledbury swimmer set a personal best on his way to finishing fourth in the Swim England National Inter-County Championships.
Oliver Jones was the only Herefordshire swimmer chosen to represent Worcestershire County swim at the competition in Ponds Forge pool in Sheffield.
Over 900 swimmers from 37 counties were in competition in varying age groups at one of Swim England's Premier events.
Ranked fifth fastest in age 12 to 13 years old 100 metres breastroke race.
Jones swam a personal best time of 1.14.43 to finish fourth.
The young swimmer said that he felt privileged to represent the Worcestershire squad at this event, and has taken many positives from the whole experience.
