Details about an FA Select team playing at Edgar Street in Tuesday night’s 125-year anniversary match have been revealed.
The side will be managed by England C boss Paul Fairclough and consists of players outside the Football League aged 23 and under.
The ex-Barnet gaffer is bringing together a team of non-league prospects from clubs in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire to face a Herefordshire representative side at Edgar Street on Tuesday, February 12 (7.45).
Former Hereford goalkeeper Harvey Rivers (Truro) is part of their squad along with former under-18 player Matt McDonald (Cinderford).
Worcester City’s George Forsyth is currently the only player from the Midlands Premier level to be given the nod for the match being played as part of Herefordshire FA's 125th anniversary celebrations.
Evesham goalkeeper Andy Hannah is another player who has been called up by Fairclough.
Cirencester Town players Ben Whitehead and Will Christopher have also made the squad.
“I was at work when I got the message from the club and over the moon to get called up,” Forsyth told the Worcester News.
Forsyth will miss Worcester City's Midland Football League Cup quarter-final at Romulus 24 hours earlier.
