A FAMILY of Hereford Taekwondo fighters came away with 11 medals between them from the Midland Area Championships.
They were part of a team of eight Hereford fighters competing for a range of titles against over 700 competitors of all ages ranging from first timers to multiple World Champions.
Star of the day for Hereford was Adam Janczewski, who came away with five medals including two golds covering patterns, sparring and power tests.
His two sons also competed and had successful outcomes, Patryk, two golds and a silver and Daniel, with a gold, silver and bronze medals.
Other Hereford medalists included Ben Hargreaves who took gold in the tag teams and power teams and bronze in the sparring.
Kelly Marshall led the women's team with gold in the sparring and tag teams. Hannah Hadley followed her lead with gold in the power teams and bronze in sparring.
While Julie Hadley took gold in the tag teams and bronze in sparring.
Finally Stefan Dragomir won a bronze medal in sparring and tag teams.
