HEREFORD based sides Westfields, Hereford Lads Club, Pegasus Juniors and Wellington have been moved across to the Hellenic Football League next season by the Football Association.
In their league allocations for next season Westfields have been placed in the Hellenic Premier Division at step five of the non-league pyramid where they will meet the likes of Bishop’s Cleeve, Lydney Town, Tuffley Rovers and Reading City.
Pegasus Juniors have been reprieved of relegation and will remain at step six of non-league pyramid alongside Wellington and Hereford Lads Club in the 14-side Division One West along with Malvern Town.
Discussions are currently taking place to increase the Hellenic Division One West and East to 16 teams.
All four Herefordshire sides travelled to Wembley last season to appeal the decision to place them in the West Midlands League last season.
Meanwhile moved into the National League North to play Hereford FC are Farsley Celtic, Kettering Town, King’s Lynn, Gloucester City and Oxford City.
The league allocations are subject to approval by their respective leagues and clubs have sevendays to appeal their allocation.
